Rite of Christian Initiation of Tweens
Our RCIT program at Immaculate Heart of Mary is for young adults in grades 6-8 who need their sacrament of Baptism. The young people attend an instruction class for one hour a week, and spend the rest of the evening with our Middle School Youth Group. Parents should attend Our Catholic Journey or our RCIA program. The RCIT program is perfect for those young people whose families are joining our Catholic community from another faith background. At the Easter Vigil, RCIT students will receive their Baptism into the faith (which also counts as their first reconciliation) and their First Holy Communion.
