We all need a hand sometimes. It's ok.
Everyone needs a little help from time to time. Here are a few ways that we can help get you back on your feet.
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Bank was started in 1976 by volunteer parishioners. The Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Bank provides a helping hand for struggling families, and without bias of religion or ethnicity we strive to emulate the teachings of Mother Teresa – to serve the poor and needy with assistance of food and basic life necessities.
In September of 2012, Immaculate Heart of Mary received an amazing gift. Parishioners, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased, completely renovated, and then donated an entire building to the church! What a truly powerful sign of Stewardship. This former daycare center, renamed The Immaculate Heart of Mary Stewardship Center is located about one block NE of the church and houses the Immaculate Heart of Mary Food Bank. The food bank has been in operation at this new location since October 1, 2012. We are overjoyed and grateful for this generous gift to our parish!
Hours and Location
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Stewardship Center is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00 am – 11:30 am. We are located at 11426 Pearl St, Northglenn CO 80233.
2-1-1 HELP CENTER: GET CONNECTED. GET ANSWERS.
While Immaculate Heart of Mary is a large parish, we don't have the financial resources to help everyone out (we wish we did!). Anyone in our area is able to use our food bank, but if you need assistance with bills, we have someone we can connect you with.
Mile High United Way 2-1-1 is a great community resource setup to help connect you with what you need. Mile High United Way’s 2-1-1 is a free and confidential community referral service that connects callers with resources which provide food, shelter, rent assistance, clothing, child care options and other types of community assistance. Trained referral specialists are multi-lingual and available to help individuals with real-time resources in our community.
