HARVEST FOR HUNGER 2011
A COMPLETE SUCCESS!
Thank you so much to the 100 attendees who joined together to enjoy an awesome evening of good food, good laughs, good conversation, and all for a good cause: our very own Mother Teresa Food Bank. The smaller venue was relaxed and much more intimate. Although fewer auction items, the quality of those items were just as good if not even better than last year!
HUGE THANK YOU, to Janelle Calerich and Diane Sueper, who for the past seven years have coordinated our highly successful and extremely fun Harvest for Hunger Dinner and Silent/Live Auctions. They are two of the most organized, dynamic, and funny women I have ever met. Who, much to our misfortune, have decided to retire from coordinating anymore Harvest for Hunger events in our future. This is a huge loss for us, and we cannot possibly thank them enough for all their stewardship of time, energy and creativity!
Congratulations to our Raffle winners!
$500 to Shelley Hillesham
$1,500 to Debbie Cuneo (Food Bank Volunteer)
$3,000 to Marlene Bailey (Mother of Scott Bailey, IHM Seminarian)
New plans in the works for next year’s Food Bank Fund Raiser. Keep your eye on the bulletin! We will be putting together a development committee and will be looking for volunteers to help us put together a cost effective, parish interactive fund raiser event for the food bank next year.
