Mission Statement
By mandate of the Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary and under his direction, the Pastoral Council is called upon to reflect and examine those things pertaining to the pastoral activities and apostolic works of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish, to weigh them carefully and to help discern practical resolutions in such a way as to further the mission of the Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Specifically the purpose of the Pastoral Council is to prayerfully reflect on and discuss with the Pastor matters which relate to the overall welfare of the people of Immaculate Heart of Mary. They are also in charge of collaborating with other ecclesial consultative groups or individuals, as appropriate, to further the pastoral service of the Pastor, as well as assisting the Pastor in understanding the pastoral needs of the people entrusted to his care and enhancing his pastoral ministry to them. The Pastoral Council will also aid in other tasks which the Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary assigns them from time to time.
