The Morning Star Cafe is Immaculate Heart of Mary’s in-house cafe and coffee shop. Enjoy delicious fare ranging from wonderful bagel sandwiches, wraps and burritos to amazing drinks such as lattes, smoothies or Italian sodas. We also offer a wide array of delicious snacks like cookies, rice crispy treats, homemade baked goods and assorted chips, crackers and candy.
The Morning Star Cafe is located at the South end of the lobby, and is designed to be a simple area where you can sit, rest and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. It is also where our PB + J nights are periodically held, allowing guest enjoy great food and great music.

Barista of the Month—Emily Haupt
Emily has been attending IHM with her family her entire life. Her favorite part of IHM is the excitement the church brings during the holidays, especially around Easter and Christmas time.
Emily is currently in her sophomore year at CU Boulder majoring in advertising, and she hopes to work in an advertising agency when she graduates. She also hopes to move to California to work full time and live by the beach. Emily is excited to be a member of the Christian sorority Alpha Delta Chi. In her free time, Emily enjoys dancing, snowboarding and listening to music. One thing that she would like people to know about her is that she eats a gluten free diet. Emily has been working for the Morning Star Cafe since it has opened and she enjoys that community aspect of the cafe. Emily’s favorite drink is a Cherry Chocolate Mocha.
